The Expositor's Bible Commentary Series is meant to be a scholarly and readable treatment of the scriptures. This 6th volume of the EBC includes commentaries on Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations and Ezekiel. Each book is introduced with articles addressing the pertinent issues connected to each book such as authorship, dating and in the case of Isaiah the unity of the book. Each commentary then looks at the linguistic and theological meaning of the text, drawing out helpful insights for the reader. Geoffrey Grogan (Isaiah) is a graduate of University of London and principal, Bible Training Institute, London. Charles Feinberg (Jeremiah) is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and John Hopkins University. He is professor of Old Testament and Semitics at Talbot Theological Seminary. H.L. Ellison (Lamentations) is a graduate of Kings College and former lecturer and missionary to Jews in Poland. Ralph Alexander (Ezekiel) is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and is associate professor of Old Testament languages and exegesis at Western Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary.
